A commission for a client, these were crafted of 50,000 year old Kauri wood from New Zealand. The handles are fashioned of fossil ivory and the legs and top accent are purpleheart.

Kauri Jewelry Boxes

This was made to display an antique Buddhist Sutra (prayerbook). It was made with “museum glass” to virtually eliminate reflections. The exterior of the case was made of beautifully figured curly maple.

This table allows the owner to tilt the top vertically to conserve space. The curly maple used throughout makes it beautiful in either position.

This is one of 3 corbels I built for a restoration on an historic district home in Harrisburg.

Ornamental Corbel

This box was made in Spanish cedar to house valuable custom made cigars and protect them while they age.

Lovingly fashioned from a piece of figured apple wood rescued from the firewood stack. It feels as soothing as the graceful lines suggest.

This is a custom made cabinet and counter installation I manufactured and installed for a local fire hall banquet room.

The client needed to overcome a tall step from the garage into the house with a minimum of tripping hazard. This ramp provides a sturdy and attractive solution.

Another box fashioned of 50,000 year-old Kauri covering a cherry core. This time with a figured maple lid, rear support and accents, and purpleheart in the mitered corners.

One day a gentleman showed-up at my door with the red parts and asked if I could fashion replacements. Sure! Here is the result. He was very pleased!

I fabricated these for a complete bathroom remodel I did. These feature shelves on ball-bearing drawer slides allowing easy access to the back of the deep shelves.

Bathroom Cabinets

This cabinet was made  from old growth yellow pine stair treads salvaged from an 1870s rural farm house that was scheduled for demolition.
